Amine Ether is a highly flammable chemical substance. Its vapor can form an explosive mixture when mixed with air, which can easily cause combustion or explosion under open flame or high temperature conditions. Therefore, reasonable storage conditions are essential to ensure its safety. The storage temperature should be kept in a relatively low temperature range of 20 to 25 degrees Celsius to avoid excessively high temperatures that accelerate the volatilization of Amine Ether, thereby increasing its vapor concentration and increasing the risk of combustion and explosion. At the same time, too low a temperature may cause it to crystallize or solidify, affecting its physical properties and performance.
Light is another important factor affecting the storage stability of Amine Ether. Light may trigger degradation reactions, resulting in reduced purity and decreased activity. Therefore, when storing Amine Ether, it is recommended to use a light-proof container and place it in a light-proof environment to avoid direct exposure to sunlight or strong light to protect its chemical stability.
Humidity control should not be ignored. Amine Ether is prone to hydrolysis with moisture, which may not only change its chemical structure, but also generate harmful substances, affecting product quality and safety of use. Therefore, the storage environment should be kept dry and the relative humidity should be controlled at a low level. Using sealed containers can effectively isolate external moisture. If necessary, desiccants can be placed to further reduce humidity and improve storage safety.
In terms of packaging selection, glass bottles or acid-resistant and alkali-resistant plastic bottles are recommended as storage containers. Glass bottles have excellent chemical stability and will not react with Amine Ether, while acid-resistant and alkali-resistant plastic bottles have good sealing and corrosion resistance. Metal containers should be avoided because some metals may react chemically with Amine Ether, causing product deterioration.
Due to the flammable nature of Amine Ether, the storage place must be away from fire and heat sources, and ensure good ventilation to prevent the accumulation of flammable gases. In addition, it should be stored separately from oxidants, acidic substances, alkaline substances and other flammable substances to avoid chemical reactions or accidents.
